Today we're taking a look at the Reese line of the 5th Airborne Pin Boxes and essentially this is an excellent upgrade to make to your fifth wheel camper. It's going to give us an air ride cushion. That helps us out in a lot of different ways. Basically, it's going to take a lot of the stress and strain off of your pin box connection point there. If you're used to hauling a camper with a standard pin box, you know that there can be a lot of that chucking back and forth. more

Lippert Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box Review- Video
Randy: Hey guys, Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Trailair Rota-Flex from Lippert components. Essentially, this is going to save you a lot of the headaches that you run into when you haul a fifth wheel trailer. Basically anytime you take off or stop, you're going to get some chucking effect. This one has a built in large, nice thick, dense, rubber absorber right here, so this whole plate is allowed to flex forward and back. It's going to help to absorb that, so it doesn't get transferred into the vehicle where you'll feel it. more

Hi there, fifth-wheel owners. Today we're going to be taking a look at Reese's Fifth Airborne fifth-wheel air-ride coupler. Hi there, camp runners. Today on our 2001 Coachmen Catalina, we're going to be installing Reese's 5th Airborne Sidewinder. If you have a short bed truck, and you want to haul a 5th wheel, the big issue that you're going to run into is the cab of your truck can potentially come into contact with your 5th wheel trailer when performing hard turns. The sidewinder will position your pin box further rearward keeping it further away from your cab, and will also move the pivoting point further rearward. Our pivoting point is now located right here underneath our wing, where it attaches, and the king pin is now here at the front of our sidewinder, giving us much more clearance so we don't have to worry anymore about turning too tight, and creaming the cab of our truck.Another unique feature is the onboard airbag in our thin box. The airbag will help eliminate vibrations and stress on the frame of your 5th wheel trailer, and it will also help provide a smoother ride going down the road. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Reese Sidewinder Fifth-wheel King Pin with the rotating turret, has a 19,000 pound weight capacity. Now, with this sidewinder, the fifth-wheel trailer's pivot point is moved an extra 22 inches toward the rear of your tow vehicle, so that you can easily make 90 degree turns even with a sharp bed truck. There's no need to get out of your truck, throw a switch, push a button, amount a fifth-wheel slider.The trailer will trap for more closely to the truck for better drivability, and that 22 inches it moves is measured from the center of the king pin right up here to the center of the turret post right here. Now, this sidewinder and turret assembly will bolt onto your fifth-wheel trailer and includes the mounting hardware.
